The Tier-Rack Story
Walk into most warehouses and you will find fixed pallet racking — steel bolted to the floor, laid out for a product mix somebody forecast years ago. Tier-Rack exists for everyone whose product mix did not cooperate.
Since 1955 the company has manufactured portable stacking racks: steel frames that stack several units high, nest or collapse flat when empty, and travel with the freight instead of staying behind. Tier-Rack introduced the original pallet stacking frame, a fastener-free way to turn an ordinary pallet into a storage rack, and the Load-Nester all-steel rack in knockdown and nestable designs. Both are still in the catalog, and both still solve the problem they were built for.
What keeps customers coming back is the engineering. Carpet and padding, tires, pipe and tube, steel coil, suspended rolls, bulk bags, nursery stock — these are loads that punish generic racking. Tier-Rack’s engineers have spent decades designing around them, and the shop builds to the customer’s warehouse, product, and space rather than asking the customer to build around the rack. When speed matters more than fit, stock sizes ship quickly. When budget matters most, quality pre-owned racks are available. Every product meets or exceeds the 2-to-1 safety factor set by the Rack Manufacturers Institute.
The racks are made in the USA and shipped from Como, MS or Lexington, NC, to warehousing and distribution centers, production manufacturers, shipping and transportation companies, and growers across the country.
Dyna-Rack. Tier-Rack also serves the dealer and distributor channel under the Dyna-Rack name — the same portable stack racks, pallet stacking frames, cart bases, and specialty carpet and tire racks, sold through resellers rather than direct.
